ABBIAMO GLI EUROPEI IN CASA L'ANNO PROSSIMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

European Continental Championship – Italy – July 2011

World Championship Returns to Europe in 2011!

Cryptozoic Entertainment, the home of the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game, is pleased to present the Organized Play schedule through 2011. In addition to the return of popular events such as the Darkmoon Faire and Realm Championships, we are also introducing some brand new programs.

Before we look at the complete schedule, here’s some information on a new hobby program and high level event!

Holiday Celebrations
These events will be held approximately every other month in hobby stores around the world, starting with Feast of Winter Veil in December 2010. An exclusive holiday themed promo card will be given to all participants and a special holiday themed playmat will be given to both the winner of the event and one random participant.

In addition to cool prizes, all participants will earn a World of Warcraft TCG achievement for these holiday events. These achievements will be tracked by your Cryptozoic ID. Players who complete The Long, Strange Trip It’s Been achievement by attending all 6 of the Holiday Celebrations will receive a special playmat.

Any hobby store running Battlegrounds is eligible to run these special holiday themed events!

World of Warcraft TCG World Cup
National pride is on the line next year, as players from around the world will compete in teams of 3 players to determine which nation will walk away with the WOW TCG Cup! This annual event will be second only to the World Championship in prizes and prestige. Stay tuned for more details.

We hope that you are as excited as we are about these two new programs. Next up let’s talk about some modifications to existing programs.

World Championship
Starting in 2011, the World Championship will rotate locations and we are very pleased to announce that the event will return to Europe next year. The World of Warcraft TCG is a global game and we want as many players as possible to have the opportunity to play in its most important event.

Asian Continental Championship
The community of players in China, Taiwan, and across Southeast Asia has seen tremendous growth this year. Because of this success, we are very happy to be able to add a Continental Championship for Asia to the schedule next year.

Realm Championships
We feel that the title of Realm Champion should be a bit more special than it has been in years past, and sharing that title among 3 players seemed a bit strange. So moving forward there will be one Realm Championship season per year and the winner of each championship will hold that title for one year.

Realm Championships will continue to qualify players for the World Championship and provide travel for the respective champions to Worlds. In addition, each Realm Champion will receive a VIP CZE Tournament card that allows them free entry in to CZE run high-level events.
